Jackie Richardson plays the Doodlebops Manager Jazz in Season Two. One big change for the second season of the Doodlebops is the loss of a beloved character, Mazz.
Born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, but moved to Toronto when she was very young, Ms. Richardson is very well known in
Canada, and is a star in her own right. Beginning her singing career at the tender age of 7, in her church choir, Jackie Richardson
has simply never looked back. At age 16, she was part of a female quartet called the Tiara's. A veteran actor in Canadian
Theater, she has been seen in "No! No! Nannette", "Hello Dolly!", "Anything Goes" and many more.
Jackie Richardson
has also recorded with another very well known Canadian performer, Anne Murray. With her own Jazz CD, A Woman's View…
Child's Eyes available for sale Ms Richardson is able to demonstrate her very powerful voice.
Jackie Richardson has won many (and been nominated for
even more awards) in Canada; including the Friendship Award 2004 (she won), several Genies, Gemini's and Juno's are more she
has been nominated for. A sultry blues singer who has recently been heard on CBC Canadian Radio Two's show 'The Blues'. Perhaps
this is her connection to the powers that be at the Doodlebops. In either case, they are very lucky to have Ms. Jackie Richardson
join their cast!
